Day 3 at Stanford

Mindy's condition is unchanged for the most part. The good news is that her vital signs remain good and her major organs are funtioning well. The difficult part is that Mindy's lungs are still filled with fluid and until that changes, no cancer treatments can begin. Mindy had another bone marrow test this morning and the results should be back by Wednesday. Both Dan and Mindy's families are still with Dan at Stanford. Trevor and Corey came back to Granite Bay and plan to go back to school for the week and head back down to see their mom again next weekend. Ruth and Jamie are going down tomorrow morning to spend some time at the hospital with Dan.

Dear Dan,

On behalf of the Campbell High, Class of 78 Reunion Committee, we would like to let you know we are very sorry to hear about your wife Mindy’s illness. I read that they were going to be organizing a blood drive for Mindy. Please let us know the details. I’m sure there are many of your classmates and their families who would love to donate on Mindy’s behalf. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family.

Sincerely,

Martha

Mindy and Dan,

The moms on Chateau are ready to rally on the word "go"! Mindy is the "Life of any Party" and she is a fighter! Know we have you both and the kids in our hearts every day! Thank you to your friends who keep us updated with Mindy's blog site.
Always, Janice

I work with your Aunt, Jane Grabau (who I adore)and immediately felt a connection because of my involvement with Team in Training for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Their education has made many people aware of what you & your family are going through. Words cannot express how we all feel for you. You are very much in our thoughts & prayers.

Peace,
Robin Rudnick

Mindy--
You have been in my thoughts so much lately, then out of the blue I get this call yesterday from Melody telling me that you are a pretty sick girl. I just want you and Dan to know, that me and all you're old model buds are rallying for you and send you our love and support. Remember all of us playing softball on the Model Teez team. You were very competitive and tough to beat, so hang in there sweetie!
All my love and prayers,
Cindy Harris and Family
