As a friend of Mindy's, it is so difficult to hear any news that is not positive about Mindy's condition, and even more difficult to find the words to communicate it to all those keeping up on her through this blog. Mindy is still on the ventilator and her condition is extremely critical and concerning to her doctors. Your prayers for Mindy, her family, and her doctors are needed more now than ever.

This news is so disheartening, but thank you for updating the blog for all of Mindy's friends who check it daily.

I barely know Mindy - I have just played Poker with her several times at the Peppermill and Grand Sierra in Reno. She touched my heart the first time I met her - not only that but she is a GREAT Poker player. I was sick to hear the news through LIPS - a ladies Poker assoc. that sponsered her last win!! I check everyday to see if she is better. My prayers are with her and her family.

Everyday I check the blog once, twice, and even three times praying the news may be different. It is with much sadness I read about my dear friend Mindy but rest assured she is being held at this moment by God. That alone, may not bring comfort, but he is there with her.

One night a man had a dream about walking along the beach with the Lord. The sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: his and the Lord's.
After the last scene flashed before him, he looked at the footprints, noticing that at the most difficult times in his life there was only one set of footprints.
"Lord, you said you'd walk with me all the way if I followed you. But during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints.
Why did you leave me when I needed you most?"
The Lord replied, "I love you and would never leave you. In your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, that was when I carried you."
John and I pray that the Trinidad family always feel the presence of the Lord.

Mindy, this is Aggie. I am praying for all of you everyday. I truly believe in the power of prayer. The little bit of time I spent with you I could tell you are a take charge, nothing can get me down kind of girl. You'll pull through, you have a lot of people on your side pulling for you.

Tom and I are praying for Mindy every day. We just returned from Tom's daughter's wedding and it helped remind me how love is so strong and is one of the most important emotions in our lives. Mindy not only has the love and supprot of her three main men but of hundreds of us that are sending our love and thoughts to her daily.
