Update on Mindy

I know that many of you check the blog regularly for updates on Mindy's progress and it is frustrating to go days without news. The truth is that there has been very little change and that is both good news and bad news. Mindy had a bone marrow test on Saturday but the results were inconclusive due to the fact that there were not enough cells to test. Yesterday, an MRI was performed which showed that the fungus had perhaps slightly improved or at least not spread. Mindy's lung condition remains the same and she is still on the ventilator. Another bone marrow test is scheduled for tomorrow so we hope for more conclusive and positive results to share.

It is powerful to read the amazing messages to Mindy and her family on this blog and realize how many lives she has touched and how much support and love reaches out to her. Your uplifting thoughts, prayers, and positive messages are so appreciated.

We are so appreciative of you taking the time to keep us all updated. We seriously check the blog a few times each and every day just in the hopes that there is special news coming from the Trinidad family. Don't add to your burden by feeling the need to keep us all updated, but it does comfort our souls every time we hear from you. You are in our thoughts and hearts constantly and we can't begin to tell you all the positive energy we are trying to send to Mindy. She is such a trooper!!

All our love,

Russ, Kim & family

Mindy, Dan, Corey and Trevor,

It is with relief I read the latest blog entry(thank you to Mindy's friends who so tirelessly keep this up) that Mindy, your Mom,is holding "her own." My heart is filled with sadness each time I think of her, but I am assurred that she is in the hands of God.
Please continue to know how many people are praying for her and each of you. You are again on my prayer list at my church which means there are even more people asking God for healing. Trust that your Mom is resting currently and trying to gain her strength.

With love,
Sharon Moore-Amoroso

I check the blog every day, several times hoping to get some good news about Mindy. I pray to God that every breath Mindy takes will heal her body and that soon I will be able to say hi and give her a big hug!
I will keep a candle burning for her!

we pray every night for Mindy, and we just hope for the best, and keep our fingers crossed.
we have faith that she is going to fight this and go through it strong, and the minute she comes out of that hospital bed she will be as bright as ever.

Mindy, Dan and families,
I was at Stanford Hospital on Friday. I knew that I probably couldn't see you Mindy. But I have to say that I felt so close to you, and felt like all my prayers, energy and love went out to all of you. You all are in our daily thoughts and we pray for healing and a beautiful smile on Mindy's face.
Love your Ya Ya Sister,
Cindy Harris and Family
