Slow and Steady...

Thanks to all of you that are keeping up on Mindy through your calls, cards and reading of the blog. Mindy's progress at this point is measured in baby steps as she is still very weakened. We all want Mindy to make a quick recovery but it is important to realize that this will be a slow process, with incremental improvements in strength, mobility, appetite and energy.

At this stage, there may be days when the blog is not updated but be assured that we will post any significant news of Mindy's progress as soon as possible.

Mindy,

keep up the great job! We hada the pleasure having seeing Dan in the office yesterday which we know is a sign that you were having a fe strong days--you may have even kicked out of your room which tells me you are getting that spunk back. Steps, even baby steps, are great. We think of you often and keep you, Dan and the boys in our prayers.

Dear Mindy,
It's so good to see and read that you are doing much better. Your will and the spiritual strength of others is the key. Irwin Sarason said: Good friends are good for your health.

Here are some blonde jokes to make you laugh, which by the way is good medicine.

Q: How do you know when a blonde has been making chocolate chip cookies?
A: You find M&M shells all over the kitchen floor.

Q: Why do men like blonde jokes?
A: Because they can understand them.

Q: What do you call a skeleton in the closet with blonde hair?
A: Last year's hide-and-go-seek winner.

Q: Why are only 2% of all blondes touch-typists?
A: The rest are hunt-n-peckers.

Q: What do you call twenty blondes in a freezer?
A: Frosted Flakes.
Namaste, Walter Bugna

Dear Mindy and Dan,
Al and Becky let us know when you went into the hospital and you have BOTH been in our prayers daily. Please use our saratoga house as a crash pad for extended family if that can help. for now just know we are reading your blog spot . . . and keeping you in the heart of our prayers. love - Kathy and Brad
